Write the speech in pieces For many-, if not most people, writing a toast for a wedding is a stressful endeavor.  A large percentage of people feel uncomfortable speaking in front of others, and even the thought of it can be nerve-racking, so instead of overwhelming yourself, start writing several weeks in advance and write one small section at a time. Include an introduction Who are you?  How do you know the happy couple? How long have you been part of their lives? Not everyone will know you, so it is nice to include this in your speech.

They have become quite the trend at weddings over the past few years, but their popularity is certainly not waning.  Including signs, especially those in gorgeous frames, is the thing to do this wedding season.  Not only do they add a touch of elegance, they really do serve worthwhile purposes, which might just be reason enough to consider including one (or five) at your own celebration.

Planning a wedding can be a great deal of fun, but it can also get very stressful if you are the type of person who really wants to please everyone.  For brides who have surrounded themselves with creative personalities, it can be very tricky to walk the line between denying the unwanted help and hurting the feelings of friends and family members.  So, we have come up with a few ideas for you should you want to turn down the offers for wedding assistance.

It can be very difficult to effectively fake a smile for photos, and while we hope that your smile is genuine in most of your Lake Tahoe wedding photos, there will undoubtedly come a time during the big day when you find your face hurts from all of the smiling for photographs.  You may have to fake it a time or two.  Make the smile look as real and as comfortable as possible with these helpful hints.
